I'm Italian and I feel ashamed to be represented at Oscar show by a movie that shows a true and cruel assassination of an innocent animal.
In Ba'aria by Giuseppe Tornatore there is a scene in which a bovine is killed with a nail in its head and then they cut its throat. This scene is not fiction, it happened really.
Tornatore went to Tunisia to record it because the Italian law for the protection of animals would not allow to film it.
I think that American people have a big sensibility for the animals protection and then I do not understand how it is possible that the Oscar committee gives a nomination to such movie.
Please don't do it, do not give a nomination to a movie where there is an cruel animal killing with no reason at all.

Thank for attention.
