MONICA HEALY, FOUNDER OF Teens 4 A Cause ANNOUNCES HER PARTNERSHIP WITH TICKLE YOUR TUMMY COOKIES TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CHILDRENS CHARITIES
Toronto, CA - June 15, 2009 Monica Healy, the 15 year old founder of Teens 4 A Cause is pleased to announce the partnership with Tickle Your Tummy Cookies to help raise funds for her charity. http://www.tickleyourtummy.ca.
Monica launched Teens 4 A Cause in May with the goal of raising 1 Million Dollars
for two children’s charities, The Sick Kids Foundation in Toronto and the National Children’s Leukemia foundation based in NYC. http://www.teens4acause.com
In the past six weeks Monica has begun to raise funds for both of the charities and she has appeared on TV and radio interviews spreading her message. Her goal of raising 1 million dollars is massive but she feels she can reach her goal. After reading about Monica trying to help the children’s charities, Jennifer Montoni founder of Tickle Your Tummy cookies was very touched and immediately contacted her. Jennifer has developed a Teens4acause.com cookie that will be sold to camps, schools, corporations and families in both Canada and the USA to help the fundraising efforts.
Tickle Your Tummy was conceived in 2003 by owner, Jennifer Montoni, who discovered that her first-born daughter was allergic to peanuts and tree nut. As was the case, and is for so many other parents, this was a daunting discovery. Through perseverance and determination Jennifer sought to create a baked good that was not only 'safe' to eat, but also that was fun for kids as well. This translated into the creation of their first and most fundamental product: the shortbread, decorated cookie. With so few ingredients to work with, Jennifer decided to create variety with art and thus evolved the large collection of designs. Our cookies are made with only the finest, simple whole ingredients of unbleached flour, butter, sugar, eggs, pure vanilla and baking powder.
