I am an aspiring computer animator and I was wondering why don't animators get awards like the oscars, Grammy's, or academy awards only the company gets them. Animators work just as hard as the actors voicing the characters but the animators have to bring the characters to life using the computer and some acting to give the character emotion. I am just saying that there should be individual awards for the animator and best animation team on a movie award( that goes for anyother field in the art industry to that dosen't get the proper recongition they deserve because art is important to). So please the people who work with the oscar nominees etc can you guys add "best animator on an animated film"," best animation team on a film"or best animation newcommer. I hope to break into the industry and to win an individual animation oscar award one day, can you guys put this into consideration you would do many hard working animators proud.
